Beautiful
It was sunset, And they sat on a cliff's edge, just watching. The sky was a breathtaking array of pastel rainbows, pink and yellow and purple, that melted into the sky and reflected in the clouds. Above it, a stretch of the most beautiful blue, and wispy clouds that could only be described as unreal. At the other end of the world, a deep blue dotted with brilliant, dazzling stars reflected in Katara's eyes. "Why are you crying?" Aang murmured, tightening his arms around her. he brushed his hand against her cheeks, capturing the tears that still flowed from her eyes, and kissed her on the neck. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I just...I've never seen anything so...beautiful." "I have." I wrote that about three weeks ago; the story is inspired by Michigan's beautiful sky.  The picture itself does NO justice to that sky. It's nothing in comparison -- in fact, it doesn't match the story at all.  I just couldn't get the colors right...  Plus I wanted to draw their faces, but the sky as well...I fail. T__T Still, I actually quite like this one.  I worked really hard on it.THESE CHARACTERS BELONG TO NICKELODEON. |
